How to install Custom Recovery in XIAOMI Phones...?

Install Custom Recovery in Xiaomi Phones(no root)

• What is Custom Recovery...?

'Custom recovery' is a recovery environment unlike stock recovery but from which we can do something more than that like Flashing Custom rom's and root your phone and many more things like that.

• Installing TWRP custom Recovery...

Firstly you need to unlock the boot-loader of your xiaomi phone... If you haven't done that yet refer to this post upon unlocking boot-loader and unlock your boot loader and once you have done that now your phone is ready for installing Custom recovery in your xiaomi phone.....

Firstly you need to have a PC to install TWRP Custom Recovery... Now download these 'SDK-Platform tools' [ Click me to download ] and download the recovery file from the Official Website [ Click me to Visit ] Search for your device and download the ".img" file and save it in your PC... 

Now go to the folder where you have downloaded the platform tools and extract the files and now copy paste the TWRP file that you have downloaded into this platform tools folder...

Now head up to your phone and put it into the Fast-boot mode and connect it to your PC and go to the SDK-Platform tools folder and type "cmd" in the address pane of the folder and hit enter... an command-prompt window appears in the desktop... Now Type the Following command in your command prompt "fastboot devices" and then you get the serial no. of the connected device and the mode of connection of that device...for example  "3de2r28v52 fastboot" and now type another command in your command prompt "fastboot flash recovery " and type the name of the downloaded img file with the extension ".img" [Note : there must be a space between the word RECOVERY and the name of the img file ] now type another command in your command prompt "fastboot boot recovery " again type the name of the downloaded img file with the extension ".img" [Note : there must be a space between the word RECOVERY and the name of the img file ] ... and boom that's it look up into your it must have been booted into the recovery mode... and now you have successfully installed the TWRP custom recovery onto your xiaomi phone...
