• What is Bootloader...?

  'Bootloader' is nothing but a simple basic program which loads the operating system when the phone is turned on.

• Unlocking bootloader

           Firstly you have to keep in mind that you are doing this unlocking at your own risk... If you unlock this boot loader there is chance of getting hacked... this is in very feu cases but mainly 'you are going to loose your device's security...!' 

Ok now lets dive into the process... Firstly you have to remove your existing google account form your device... To do that go to the settings > Sync >select google > click on more > click on remove account > conform to remove account..  and that's it you have your google account removed...

Now create/sign in with an Mi account that's linked with your current sim card which you are using in your xiaomi mobile...now go to the settings > about phone > click on the MIUI version for 7 - 10 times and then go to the additional settings >  developer options > now turn on the 'OEM Unlocking' and then the 'USB Debugging'...

Now head up to your PC and firstly download and install the ' Universal ADB Driver ' [ Click me to download ] and now the ' Mi PC suite ' [ Click me to download ] and now the ' Mi unlock tool ' [ Click me to download ]… After installing all the software now go to your xiaomi phone and power off the device and now after fully powered off press the 'Volume Down and Power' Keys simultaneously after seeing the 'fast boot' logo on the screen go ahead and connect it to your PC and now open the Miflash_Unlock tool in the Mi Unlock tool folder and now you have to sign in into your mi account in the tool and then check if the phone is connected to your PC and then press unlock [ Warning: Unlocking bootloader will erase all your data in the phone so backup all your DATA and then proceed to the unlocking..] Now the process will begin and in some cases it gives you the wait time like 72,52,etc hours so you should wait till the time completes and do it once again...and now you have successfully unlocked the bootloader of the device and now you can install custom recovery and custom ROM's...
